Floyd's story has been dried out, and Robert's one of the most boring people in the sport. Showtime haven't got much to work with, I guess. The matchup itself has no history or significance to create a story.

Yes. It doesn't seem like a real relationship.

She seems just like another trophy for Mayweather. Not his significant other.

But maybe Floyd is not able to form a real relationship with a partner. Or maybe he does, but not with her. He seems happy though, in general. If she is just another employee playing a role, so be it. If, say, his significant other was Ellerbe, would Mayweather still make as much money? I very much doubt it. Maybe she is an investment in his money-making image.:conf
