I caught up on all 3 last night. Seemed alright. I am admittingly a bit biased because I support Guerrero, his beleifs, his values, etc. One thing gets on my nerves though a bit... Floyd said how Guerrero is a "HYPOCRIT!" Just like most ESB says when they talk about Pac, Ward, anybody that has some kind of beleifs in God... Meanwhile most people don't even know what a hypocrit is. Hypocrit is somebody who tells you to do something, but do it themselves afterwards. Be like me watching porn daily and telling you guys your not allowed to watch porn. If I do it, it's against my beleifs, and admittingly I am doing wrong, but unless I tell others to not do it.. I am not being a hypocrit. Floyd talks about how Robert Guerrero was a hypocrit because he had a picture of Maryln Monroe on his wall (which I didn't see) and he's driving his truck around in some field (though Mayweather's bit was funny about how he was supposedly tearing up somebodies yard LOL). Meanwhile, Mayweather just went to jail for punching his ex and he's calling Guerrero a hypocrit for those small, meaningless things. Sad this is how many of us are as humans. We know we did wrong, but we point out other peoples mistakes to make us feel better. Just Floyd being defensive about Robert speaking the truth. Mayweather isn't all bad (he gives to tons of charities, does plenty of great things), but just to sell fights he does make it out to the youth that it's good to be the cocky arrogant fighter obsessed with $. BTW: I am more sold on the fight. I still think Guerrero is a bit overmatched, but I admire the mans attitude to not let Floyd run over top of him (like Ortiz didn't show). Win or lose if Guerrero gives it his all.. I think it'll be worth watching.
this series is not exciting at all. not enough of floyd sr/roger/ruben. They are fun to watch, i don't wanna see any of that other ****.
Just finished watching. The series really isn't that exciting, I hate to say it. Such precious little boxing training footage, such a lack of humor to compensate, such corny unnecessary narration. Guerrero is a boring conversationalist and Floyd has calmed down. The match I'm excited for, but the series isn't helping. I don't feel the tension. They're not showing Guerrero really sweating and putting work in and they should be selling the threat to Floyd's 0.
I think what happened after 50 Floyd has calmed down a bit. He's a family person but realizes what the games about.
:good Better all around production with 24/7. All Access seems like it could be on CBS or something doesn't "feel" premium at all.
CBS is the #1 Broadcasting company in the United States. Its #2 in the world behind BBC. Showtime is a company owned by "CBS" and its not even the #channel on cable Id say CBS is more "premium" than Showtime. Which is why CBS Sports Network is showcasing over 10 hours of coverage surrounding Floyd Mayweathers debut fight on SHOWTIME PPV® against Robert Guerrero on Saturday, May 4. Programming is highlighted by live coverage of the Mayweather vs. Guerrero press conference on Wednesday, May 1 (4:00 PM, ET) and the Mayweather and Guerrero Official Weigh-In on Friday, May 3 (6:00 PM, ET). Following the May 4 pay-per-view event, CBS Sports Network provides complete analysis of the action with commentator Barry Tompkins and analyst Steve Farhood, as well as live coverage of the post-fight press conference. During the week leading up to the bout, CBS Sports Network also will air encore presentations of classic fights featuring Mayweather and Guerrero. Fights airing in their entirety include Mayweather vs. Oscar De La Hoya (May 2007), the most watched pay-per-view event in history; the controversial fight between Mayweather and Victor Ortiz (September 2011); Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton (December 2007); Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley (May 2010) and Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (September 2009).
I don't understand how having a picture of Marilyn Monroe in your house makes you a hypocrite if you're a religious person. Are religious people not allowed to enjoy "Some Like it Hot" or something?
I made a long post about it.. I agree completely. Floyd is just digging for something on Guerrero. Surprised he didn't mention the gun?.. Guessing even Floyd even he had to much self respect to go there since he either carries one, or knows he has his body guards to carry.
