I'm starting to get concerned. This is the first lead up to a fight where Floyd doesn't seem hungry to me. He is already anticipating the end. He keeps talking about the next 30 months and then its over. That is never a good thing.
Three workouts in a day, third one at 1 in the morning, this being his longest training camp, meeting weight way early. In what world is that not hunger? When you can see your retirement date, with less than three years away, you bust your ass, make sure everything is in place so that you can ride into the sunset a winner. Undoubtedly, he's more focused than before, because he can see the end. It's all about the legacy and the imprint he leaves.
What?!??! A load of rubbish - firstly there are 2 fighters from different cultures. How you can reason that because the narrator is the same culture (what you basically mean is "colour", because he's black that's cool with you, if he's white he's rubbish) as ONE OF THE FIGHTERS, them then it's ok - so if it was American Mexican like Guerrero this would also work for you? You make this all about race like so many on here. Some "out of touch WHITE guy observing a black guy? If I said the reverse I'd be accused of being racist" - what about when it's Pacquiao V Marquez or Marg V Cotto, is this ok because they're not black? Does the narrator in 24/7 do a better job because both fighters aren't black? When do you need to be the same colour as one of the sportsman to commentate on a sports documentary! What a load of crap - drop your xenophobia. What is good about the guy from 24/7 is his commentary was far removed the crappy pop-icon, fanboy perspective that All Access is - it was putting a poetic viewpoint on the fight game, the narrator talked in depth about the background of an individual fighter to who he is in the ring, it put a poetic primitive spin on boxing, fighting, man v man, survival etc...it didn't have crap like "When Mr Mayweather arrives in the gym" "Shantel Jackson...A.K.A Miss Jackson" - it was cringing, like some idiot fanboy
Watch this, guys: [yt]oGmG8mK0WrI[/yt] All access does exactly what it says on the tin. 24/7 doesn't. What you are missing about 24/7 is the philosophical musings of the narrator and his psychological speculations about the fighters' emotional lives. But in terms of getting close to the daily life of the fighters in preparation for the fight, All Access delivers the goods. :good
did you see how he looked at the 30 day weigh in? 148lbs already....if that isn't hungry, every other boxer needs to work harder just to get on Floyd's "relaxed" state.
