To be fair, we had Garcia/Haney last week. We just need to accept that boxing is global these days. And the notion that foreign superstar boxers need to fight on US soil is a relic of the past.
Whenever Americans are involved in the big fights there is always some BS like rehydration clauses all sorts of weight games and bad judges, terrible referees. All the fights listed in this thread are on a level playing field no BS just straight up boxing I love it. Edit- Apart from Canelo Munguia lol
Like Ryan beating / upsetting Devin Munguía KOing Canelo would be great for boxing. we would then get Munguía vs Benevidez (after a rematch of course) That would be an amazing fight. Gatti vs Ward level.
May 4th: Canelo Alvarez vs Jaime Munguia May 6th: Naoya Inoue vs Luis Nery May 11th: Vasyl Lomachenko vs George Kambosos May 18th: Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk May 25th: Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall II June 1st: Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol June 1st: Queensberry-Matchroom 5 vs 5 Big Bang vs The Dosser Hrgovic vs Dubois Ford vs Ball Sheeraz vs Williams Richards vs Hutchinson June 15th: Chris Billam-Smith vs Richard Riakporhe II June 15th: Gervonta Davis vs Frank Martin June 15th: David Benavidez vs Oleksandr Gvozdyk June 15th: Subriel Matias vs Liam Paro June 29th: Juan Estrada vs Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez
Just personally ... this fight will be great when round 1 is underway ... but until then I barely want to hear/read/think another word about it. Fury Whyte was 2 years ago and Usyk Joshua almost that. There's been threads and media all that time and the sooner that this fight finally gets put to bed, the better ... and there's every chance this will drag on for even longer due to some last minute BS.
