All Floyd or Pac need are an opponent that poses a threat and/or an interesting story. MOsley does both, Clottey just the treat part. Floyd HAS the better dance partner here, but even if the opponents were reversed I still think Floyd would outsell him tbh. Has nothing to do with skill or in-ring ability, it has everything to do with Floyd being such an active self promoter. Floyd shines on 24/7, the best episodes were from his fights and this is undeniable. Also he is just better at promoting himself then Manny is, blame it on the language barrier or whatever, it is what it is.

I find it's mostly Mayweather fanatics that care so much about PPV buys. I couldn't give a **** less, personally. **** PPV. Hard.

I do not care about PPV numbers as a fan of the sport, I don't particularly care about Pacweather VS Pacweather negotiations either. If it happens, fine. I hate PPV too. I think its killing the sport. How many non boxing fans can tune in and check out a great fight to spark their interest in boxing? None...

 

And that is a fact. But sadly it will still be compared. The media know CLottey is NO Mosley but they will act like he his.
