Not insunuating anything, but it's so weird that those contracts come out now at this time. After what Montoya has said.

    Ownage

-But still, Schaeffer didn't offer ANY splits, the contract was drawn up by TR originally, sent to Floyd's team, presumably Ellerbe and Haymon. Iole was wrong in this one as to who sent who the contracts IIRC

    - Floyd signed, including the 10 million pound weight cheat penalty Pac wanted
    - Floyd signed and put in his steroid cheat clause
    - Sent it back
    - Top Rank refused (Primarily Bob Arum)
    - No fight

Top Rank made the offer. Which is crazy when you think about it.

I know that he is just backing Mayweather's wishes on reneging the 50-50 deal, but Schaefer looks like a buffoon trying to defend this point.

Its obvious Arum didn't want anything to do with this fight at the time. Same as how Floyd didn't want anything to do with it later that year

Didn't deny the contract but the split. Not sure why he would deny either. Possibly because he legitimately doesn't remember or perhaps he doesn't want to concede that 50/50 was indeed offered for one reason or another.

Regardless of what was sent, everything was MORE than fair. The fight couldn't have been more relevant at the time, and it didn't come off.

Probably the biggest shame in all of boxing to be honest.

Why would Schaefer deny that they offered 50:50 before, when it was in that contract?

So why do you need to ask? Were you trying to be funny or just being ignorant as usual?
