yeah...me too...if arum is the source, it may as well be some random 2-year babbling baby talk...it would carry just as much weight

Only one thing makes him run his mouth: 27% from Pacquiao and 27% from Cotto/Margarito = 27% of total revenue to an 80 y/o fat man whose never been hit in his life. **** does he care if this fight falls apart. The alternative is he only gets paid 10.8% to watch his cash cow get retired. Even if Pac wins whats left for him other then a Mayweather rematch?

Lets do the hypothetical basic math on that. Lets say PAc Cotto II rematch does 1.2 million buys...at 60 bucks a pop thats 72 mil. Arums share (0.27*72) is 19.4 mil. For a pac May fight that 2.5 mil and generates 150 mil in PPV arum (150*10.8) gets 16.8 mil. These are just basic numbers. And there are probably many other ways that you could do the numbers showing the May-Pac fight making much more then what I have it making (as I haven't considered live gate/merchandizing/spin-off ****) but anyway you slice it you can see that Arum has the least vested interest in this fight going off because he can make the same or very similar money for less risk to his prime asset with other options.

On another note Why the F would floyd not want to fight in November? Unless he has some business project that is eating up his time or wants to do some main stream cross over activity that he thinks will significantly increase the revenue I can't see him wanting to wait until he is 35 y/o to fight at fast banger like Pac. No matter who you are you only have so many miles on your odometer. Eventually you check out. To be frank with his relatively fragile body type and reliance on his reflexes I'm actually shocked he hasn't gotten seriously shot by now. Long before he reached the age Floyd is now Pernell was done. When he was Floyd's age his body wouldn't even let him finish a fihgt without getting injured.

We will soon get the truth from floyd's camp whether both camps agreed to everything.

Now this is on three credible boxing sites. This is getting better. But it still doesn't mean **** until Floyd has his name on the contract.

You know to be frank it doesn't sound like they've agreed to anything. It just sounds like Arum has made Al Haymen an offer that he is going to take back to Floyd. That doesn't really mean **** and like I've said from the start I'll believe this fight is going to happen when both guys sign on the dotted line.

Like I said in my other post. The only thing this lets me we can probably say about negotiations is that Arum has made an offer that Al Haymens is taking back to Mayweather. That is a good sign but it don't mean **** until the contract is signed.

Why lack of reading comprehension is so prevalent here at ESB?

REPRESENTATIVES of Pacquiao and Floyd agreed to terms is what being said. Now it requires Floyd approval within 2 weeks time. Presumably Pacquiao has already approved those terms.

which means jack **** in all honesty

AND it is coming from arum

    so basically

Arum says, team pac, and someone from floyd's camp (although he didn't say who...and let's face it, floyd makes all his own decisions, so it's basically arum double-talk) agreed on terms

yet, no one from floyd's camp has said this, which then has arum as the only source

i hope it's true, and i hope floyd gave his reps a list of agreeable terms...and i hope arum isn't lieing like usual, but i just don't believe a thing that comes out of his mouth

oh, and the fact that he came out and made this statement BEFORE anything is actually agreed upon, makes me doubt it even more

    Floyd fans -

If Floyd is bad at one thing it is winning rounds when the opponents pressure.
Oscar pressured and won a good amount of rounds, Castillo won half the fight maybe,
Shane hurt Floyd bad in round 2 when he pressured and after May was hurt he never pressured again. I know the speed fine. How can Manny not be the worst opponent ever for him. He throws so many punches and can do it for 12 rounds. It just has Mayweather's worst nightmare stylistically you could ever invent. No way Floyd is taking this.
