I still feel that all this talk about how the fight is off is complete BS. I feel that this is just a publicity act to draw more attention to the fight. So far it is working. How many times has this fight been talked about on ESPN, PTI, Around the Horn, or other sports shows since the negotiations went stale? Almost everyday. If the fight was signed, it would have just been announced and that would have been it. I feel that the March date will not be when the fight takes place. The March date is around the time when College Basketball will be starting its March Madness tournament and this will take away from the potential viewers for this fight. After all these fans are a huge percentage of the target audience. I feel the fight will be pushed back until May or either June, when people will be solely waiting for this match to take place!
Maybe the date they had long time ago. Remember? Teddy Atlas, "It's a done deal." Bert Sugar, "It's done they're just working out the details. It's going to be on the first of May." That works for me...
From a financial stand point...a May date would bring in a lot more money..especially around Cinco de Mayo.. hell maybe Floyd will walk to the ring in a sombrero again!!! lol
If Pacquiao drops his political aspirations, it will happen in may...the march 13th date was a bad date in the first place, that team pacquiao wanted... My personal opinion, the fight will happen Sept-Oct....I would like to see it happen in May.....but remember back in the fall, roach said arum told him mayweather in september..... If the fight doesn't happen at all, I think in the long run it will look bad for top rank and manny pacquiao....He seems hell bent on his libel suit in court, which makes no sense from a public relations stand point... The easiest way to stop the talk of PED use is to make the fight happen, and clear his name through random blood testing....It's the simplest way
you could well be right its not out of the realms of possibility that they would decide to market it this way...."fake strife" so to speak
no ****...but cinco de mayo is a weekend in which many ppl will be off of work and would be a time where ppl would enjoy watchin the fight many ppl will be partying...with me boxing and partying go very well together
hhaha so u live in Puerto Rico? I was just reading about some highly rated prospects and amateurs over there...that island produces a crazy amount of boxers!!!!!!!
