Who has the better resume so far?

Pac has wins over bigger names with (even if they were slightly past their best) but Floyd is undefeated with no real controversial bouts except the first Castillo fight ... and he erased any doubts when he soundly defeated him in the rematch 8 months later

Pac also arguably lost against Marquez 3 times and was cheated a victory over Bradley

Pac was also KOed twice in his career(albeit early in his career)

    Official records:

    Floyd: 43-0
    Pac: 54-4-2

I say its close but Pac's two wins over Morales (TKO and KO) and two wins Barrera (UD and TKO) give him the edge.

Floyd. This is why. Everytime Pac fights, its either this asterisk next to the victory, OR Something strange, clownish, and bizzare happens. Its one thing if he has one cw fight. Or one bad decision. Or one wierd thing happens. But he CONSITANTLY has something wierd happens at his fights. He had two robberies in a row in his last two fights. Thats stuff is supposed to rarely happen at ppv events. But twice in a row, on a megafight. Its insane. Or he's doing something strange like holding up the fight to watch the bball game in the back, or shooting pool in between rounds. Pac has allowed arum to make a joke out of his legacy. I look at Pac almost like Butter bean. Just a clown show. People have used the term freakshow to describe Pac and his situations, at times. Its No doubt in my mind, I am 100% positive that in his next fight, it will be a cw, some asterisk, but if not, that will be exchanged for a bizzare night. Something fisshy will happen, he will get robbed, or he will do something weird like bring a small swimming pool to the ring so he can watch the undercards whle relaxing in a hot tub. And you look at the 8 world titles in 8 classes right. This is an amazing feat. But out of all the people who could pull it off, its Pac, The Clown Show, Pacquiio? If it was Martinez who did it, I would be like wow. But when its Pac, its like "Man, This guy again?? Always doing something strange" Like for Pac to do it, makes me think of it as bizzare. Like a freakshow. Go to a circuis and see the 8 legged freak. I think Pac's whole legacy is just a sham, even tho I think he has some legit wins, Im still blinded by the mockery him and his promoter has made of the sport. Its never a normal day at the mgm when he fights. When Floyd KO'd Ortiz, it was like wow, cuz we never seen Floyd that mad and aggressive. If Pac did it, it would be like man. That was wierd. I think Floyd's resume is not as good as it could be, bt I think of him as a real boxer. I think of Pac as butterbean. When he fights its going to be an asterisk, OR a strange night. Remember that Mosley fight? Thats not supposed to happen in a ppv fight like that. Where the top fighter in the world, is looking silly and cant land punches against a shot bum. The crowd booing as the top fighter was getting exposed to be hype almost. It was just bizzare. 100% of the time, when he fights, something crazy will happen. It will happen in his next fight. Him and JMM Will simultaniously KO eachother.

Pacquiao, because he's beaten far more top level talent than Floyd has.

The fact that you even compared Pacquiao to the likes of Butterbean makes me not take your comment seriously.
To answer the thread, Pacquiao no doubt. Could it have been better? Yeah, but he's still achieved enough to be considered an ATG. Same with Floyd but I think Pac just edges him in terms of quality opponents.

Pac's Ws over Marquez and Barrera at the lower weights give him the edge slightly.

Pacquiao, clearly, for me. But if you pretend his career started in 2008, I suppose you would certainly say Mayweather. Both have between 15-20 victories over major world titlists, putting them at the upper end for that in their era, but who Pac had and at what weight before he became the Pacweatheroachnarum show extravaganza circus gives him a big edge, I think.

I compared him to butterbean, because everytime he fights its a circus act. If it wasnt for the mockeries, I would say Pac easily. But he constently has something strangee revolving around him, and its too noticable. I never said Pac is a fake fighter and he s the same as Butter bean. I just said evertime he fights, something strange happens, and its so consistant, that I barely even take him serious. That Mosley fight was a clownshow, AND it was on ppv. Then the back to back robberies. Everytime he fights, we will be on twitter with stories to tell about how something fishy Happened.

Pacquiao has the handful of truly stellar wins(Barrera I, Morales II, Marquez II) that Floyd lacks.

Floyd really needs Cotto to go on to more success(He beat a better Cotto and a better Mosley than Pacquiao did), but he'd need a few more top shelf victories like the one he just had to catch up.
