The Mayweather vs Ortiz fight before the knockout. Only difference is that Pacquiao is faster. Something about that fight though..Ortiz was a magnet to right hands and he only had success when he punched while floyd punched as well as floyd against the ropes. Pacquiao will be hit with rights all night unless he finds a way to punch while Floyd does and avoid the right straight while doing so. Im pretty sure though that he will avoid the ropes as much as humanly possible. Any thoughts from you guys?

Pacquiao has timing, Ortiz does note.

Ortiz is awful, Pacquiao is not.

Come on man, comparing Ortiz to Pacquiao would be like comparing Algieri to Floyd.

There won't be a single second in the fight where it will look like the Ortiz fiasco.

True, very true.. but ortiz DID catch him a couple of times anyways. Plus ortiz was good enough to cut off the ring on Mayweather and land a few on the ropes.

Plus. Many think that Mayweather likes to walk down southpaws ala Ortiz and Guerrero. While Ortiz was getting walked down.. he was able to catch Floyd while he was punching.

    No No No

Ortiz is a one handed fighter. He has no right hook. Mayweather figured this out fast and was free to focus in on one hand and unload straight rights.

The biggest threat to Floyd from a southpaw is not the straight left. It's the right hook. He tries to roll it and a southpaw with good footwork can cross the T on him as he rolls with it.

The only comparison between the two is the southpaw and the susceptibility to right hands.

I know Ortiz quit but come on he wasn't THAT bad. He was gonna be the next Golden Boy!!! Before Oscar dropped him for Canelo, that is...(for obvious reasons).
Idk, I felt that he wasn't bad at all. Maybe not spectacular but he could've been something spectacular.
I feel like Ortiz is underrated on this forum.

And no lol May-Pac will not mirror the Ortiz fight. no way hahahaha

One question guys.. If Ortiz was such an easy fight for Floyd why did Floyd need to cold**** a helpless defenceless fighter??? Sure Ortiz blatantly head butted him because he obviously got tired of Mayweathers elbow shoved in his face. The coup de gras for me is Floyd uses the moment he throws the combination & Ortiz falling on his promos for his fights & has it on his record as a KO win. Cmon guys Really ??

THAT is my point. Youguys are getting me all wrong. Also i agree that Ortiz sucks and all. But i still feel like because "styles make fights"...for some reason Ortiz had more success than Canelo and Guerrero did. The whole fight was actually exciting. Unlike the Canelo and Guerreto fights.

Ortiz is a bum of highest order its so insulting for him to even be mentioned in the same sentence as pac..........

even pac's sparring partners would **** Ortiz the **** up ,gomez, ruslan, khan, porter all those guys are levels above Ortiz and pac is levels above all of them

    Ortiz is complete ****
