Yet it was DeGale who was getting stunned and even staggered at times.

Jack was the one who hit the canvas in the first. His chin is china and it WILL be exposed, again.

Even before DeGale started gassing Jack was figuring him out. DeGale is overrated for sure, and Jack is hugely underrated. A very, very good fighter who is gonna make noise at 175 and expose some of these hypejobs.

Obviously a flash KD, Jack was never hurt once in the fight, DeGale was hurt multiple times and very nearly stopped in the last round. Jack has showed a solid chin since getting caught cold by Edwards.

As with every other fighter discussed on here, DeGale is overrated by some of his fans and Jack is underrated by some of his detractors.

With the predictions and the betting odds for yesterday's fight, DeGale could be the most overrated active fighter. And Jack is definetly underrated too.

We'll see. I think the Edwards fight revealed a suspect chin that will be demonstrated in future fights. The KD in the first round of the DeGale fight is further evidence of his problems with punch resistance.

Dude that was clearly a balance KD, Jack wasn't even buzzed.

I think they are both rated about right. DeGale was in a fire storm last night and toughed it out. As did Jack in the early rounds. Not enough credit is given to DeGale for four fights on the bounce in the US. Fighting away from home is a big hurdle for any fighter and he deserves props for doing this.

In and of itself, it's nothing - but when you combine it with the Edwards KO, you see a pattern emerging. A pattern of questionable punch resistance. Like I said, we will see who is ultimately right on this, as Jack's career progresses.

I had picked Degale to win this fairly comfortably, he is the more talented fighter of the two. However, Jack surprised me and Degale kinda lost direction on the fight. Personally I think Jack won this, and Degale got a very kind decision. As to being 'overrated'... no they are rated according to the current level of talent within the division, it's hard to argue that anyone else at super middle is way ahead of Degale and Jack in terms of ability.
