Maybe Fedor should go to Strikeforce, and get the 3 fights left with M1 Global out of the way, assuming a co-promotional agreement. Strikeforce has Rogers, M1 and Strikeforce could go to Japan to let Fedor face Barnett, and I'm sure they can find another credible challenger for Fedor. If Fedor continues his success, and finishes his contract quickly, the UFC may be willing to give him an offer similar to what they offered recently. The time for Brock and Fedor is probably now for the sake of it being an even match. Fedor is winding down physically. He is in his 30's, and will be a lesser version of himself with each passing day. Brock is only a year or so younger than Fedor, but will be enjoying a near 70 lb weight advantage.
it is a serious question as to whether strikeforce will have the same problems signing fedor that the ufc has had co promotion would be just as bad for them as the ufc. and can strikeforce even come anywhere near close to giving fedor the kind of money that the ufc offered?
I doubt strikeforce can pay Fedor what the UFC was offering. Fedor mentioned being obligated to 3 more fights with M1. I wonder if he would go to the UFC after fulfilling that obligation. The only way to find out is for him to get in those fights. I just hope he does it fast enough.
