Roach thought DLH would beat Mayweather too.

the weakness is that he standed his ground against the bigger guy? im seein that as a plus for mayweather

I think the weakness is that the other guy was able to get position on him that a younger Floyd would have never allowed and it almost cost him his 0.

Perfect example : Miguel Cotto. His footwork is terrible. He skips about, basically running, and has no power whatsoever. Pacquiao was walking through those punches.

mayweather always makes little mistakes in the first few rounds he dosnt watch tapes and is just figurin them out the good thing is that he can step up another gear to handle it and i still think he has a few more gears he could go up if desperate

W... T... F? Shane landed two monster shots on Floyd. Floyd has been hit like that before. If you think even a great fighter like Floyd can avoid bombs an entire fight, you aren't much of a fight fan.

Contrary to popular belief, Floyd DOES actually get hit. That's why a tough beard is so important in the fight game. If I was Roach, I'd be worried that Floyd got hit consecutively with two flush right hands from a fighter with speed and power and shook them off immediately.

Roach is just doing his 2nd job. Running his mouth. He talks more than a lot of fighters do. Floyd's still got movement. They just wanna discredit his win over shane by making it look like he wasn't supposd to be able to touch floyd. He got caught sure, but it's boxing. If manny & floyd fight roach will see more movement & pac take a loss.

It wasnt such a shock when Floyd didnt go on the backfoot against Mosley. He stood toe to toe with Hatton most of their fight (and beat him at his own game) which many people were sure he wouldnt dare do.

You might keep in mind Roach seems to make sensible comments after some thought on the matter, unlike Sr and company.

Didn't Roach also pick Mosley to win?
