    I watched this fight 3 times now, and it was not as close as some fans are making it out to be. Canelo won, and it wasn't even close. Canelo hurt Trout on several ocassions, while trout landed very little of note.

    kill yourself

  3. Canelo schooled this hype. Everyone who scored for Trout has no idea about boxing.

    No. I watched it again recently, just to remind myself. I'm pretty clear on Canelo getting the win, but Trout was actually scoring reasonably throughout the fight. Trout kinda had the quicker hands and feet throughout the fight, but Canelo either reduced or neutralised their impact.

    In my view the fight was won upon Saul's ability to land damaging shots, and his movement and aggression which allowed him to gradually establish himself as the dominant fighter despite an otherwise relative balance between physique and technique.

    :lol::rofl
    It was close, and obviously other people think so too, that's why they are putting him in with Lara.

    Black. Rooted for Trout. Saw the fight. Trout loss by route. Post fight commentary was/is bewildering to me. Made a thread racial in nature I suppose, bigging up Canelo for what I thought was an excellent fight on his part (Trout looked fearful to me). Was subsequently flagged and booted off the sight for a month. With that said I boldly creep back into the Trout/Canelo post fight analysis/commentary.....Trout got his ass whupped! I was embarrassed.....Viva la Black/Mexico boxing rivalry....Get 'em Floyd.

    spot on comment bar the hype part. Trout is legit, Canelo was just too slick for him.

    Canelo won by 1 or 3 points due to the KD. (6-6 or 7-5)

    That sounded an intelligent commentry but just became bewildering but yet therefore more intriguing. Banned for what? Means nothing sometimes 'cept wrong toes tread upon. Why any fear when none can hurt you here?

    Do not creep back, leap back, say your thoughts loud announce your opinions proud.

    C'mon kid. The haters can STFU

    If you did not see a close fight you need glasses, or you were drunk when you watched it.

    Alvarez won the fight, no doubt about it...............

  14. I agree.

    Trout fought like someone who knew if he opened up a bit too much then he would probably end up getting cracked.

    yep; not on this site, but "beerdrankshawty" even went so far to show how he has been doing this change of styles throughout different fights, as a true boxer should, than most folks give canelo credit for.
    That said, as good as trout was there is a long bridge in quality between him and Mayweather; I'm just glad that the undercard is shaping up to be great in case these two try to show out-school each other and bore the casual fans.
