Not so sure how clear but I see your point. Hearns is a monster h2h in the 3 weight classes... nearly unbeatable in 2 of them.

 

Joe Louis is most definitely the most underrated fighter on the pound-for-pound ratings around here.
I think heavyweights get a raw deal on the p4p ratings anyway, but Louis gets the most underrated of them all.
Considering how great his championship reign, and record, and longevity, and dominance was - along with his clear possession of remarkable combination of boxing skill and punching power and KO artistry - it's bizarre that so many people will raise eyebrows or make comments at him being rated even at 9 or 10 in a p4p list, and completely deny that he might deserve a place in the top 2 or 3.
Louis ticks all the boxes, and scores very high in every area, except perhaps quality of opposition which isn't actually too shoddy either.

 

Because even if you win fights by cold knockout, if they go longer than 5 or you get dropped they're bums and you're overrated.

Well for what it's worth even as one of the biggest Louis stans on this forum I'll acknowledge the cut of your gib regarding Louis' perhaps overly textbook style and a perhaps overly robotic approach that even some from his time criticized. Ironically I think some of his greatest successes happened when he shunned a methodical approach, became more aggressive, and let his hands go offensively (Walcott II, Schmeling II, John Henry Lewis).

I'd bet you're not much into Benny for the same reasons.

Don't really have a strong opinion on leonard to be honest.At least not from a technical/sylistic perspective.

Any criticism from me about Louis is mild in the grand scheme of things.He's a great fighter, one of the sports American legends.
