Maybe Margarito finally understands what Pretty Boy was talking about??

I still dont get it though Sugar in his prime would have gave him problems but at this point he has lost his spark years ago.

 

It still doesn't cover the names on Floyd's ducking list.

 

this is the first time i see a floyd fanatic admit he could have lost to Margarito

 

what i dont understand is why he turned down $4 million to fight williams he wont earn more than that in a rematch with cotto anyway.

so for me he is still avoiding williams and the punisher is and allways will be the best welter in the world untill margo avenges that loss

 

yea that MAY be true...but im growing huge disdain for a guy who calls himself the most feared fighter and ducks a fading Shane Mosley...

Margarito has now shown that he is no different than any other top fighter in that he looks at boxing as a business just as much as he looks at it as a sport he loves.

This is perfectly understandable, but when you largely make your name on being a feared fighter, having to chase fighters and boxing for pride rather than money, you deserve to be called out when you turn out to be no different than the other boxing businessmen.

 

I don't think he ever actually called himself ''the most feared man';' in boxing but you are somewhat right

Jezz you guys seen floyd beat up Gatti and automatically assumed that everyone on Floyd Resume was past they're prime atsch

when the truth of the matter is margarito has fought more egg shell then anyone and Cotto was protected from floyd ,when floyd moved from 135 to 140, Clotty was never in the picture until now.

 

There's no justification. It's hypocracy, plain and simple. Remember that Margarito was accusing Mosley of "pissing his pants" about this fight.

Margarito is no longer the ducked fighter, and now that the roles have changed, so has Margarito. His fans have to accept that.

This happens all the time. It's nothing specifically bad about Margarito. It just stands out more because he made a name for himself for being not like those other guys, but he's just like all other top fighters.

 

margo was one of the most feared names in boxing because he posed too much danger for the amount of money his name could generate. now his name attracts more money than the dificulty he poses in the ring and everyone wants to fight him because of it. he did not duck the best to get where he is at today so his comparison to floyd is not accurate. the guy has made his bones already so if he wants to go after money first, just like pac, then he should be able to fight who he wants. its not like he is trying to avoid geting exposed, everyone knows exactly what margo brings to the ring.
