you can see where all those fighters fell into place historicaly once the propaganda generated on their behalf died away. like i said, if floyd is your man there is no way i am going to get you to see what i see as experience has taught me that love is blind. there are a million reasons why floyd never got to fight the best and depending on who you ask, he was either cherry-picking or it was forces out of his control. i looked at the evidence and decided which side of the fence i belong on.

You cant even compare floyd & margarito in this whole thing...

a lot of the fights people claim floyd ducked (cotto, shane, marg) were either bad timing or were'nt allowed to happen because of higher powers...

i dont understand what margarito is trying to do...

he had offers for 3 fights and just flat out said no to 3 fight offers... i dont get it

No one at 140 wanted to fight floyd including Cotto .

Floyd and Arum made a agreement that floyd would fight Margarito which was part of a 3 fight deal which included Cotto and hatton, even though Arum and Floyd came to agreement with the Margarito fight They could not come to agreement with the Cotto and hatton fight , and with out those 2 fight no contract was struck , so that killed the Floyd Vs Margarito fight also.

William was never in the mix until he beat Margarito.

i dont get it though... who is there left for him to fight

hes not going to middle weight or light middle weight

so that crosses out anyone for that group

he cant go to light welter .. so cross out anyone from that group...

    that leaves him...

    shane-paul-clottey-collazo-cotto-berto-floyd-oscar

he already turned down the first 3..

there would be no point in fighting collazo or berto.. there not ready

    he already destroyed cotto...

floyd wont fight him until he gets more names under his belt

and i doubt oscar will fight him because why fight margo when you could fight floyd or hatton and maybe even shane for way more money...

im trying to identify his motives but i really cant... i think thats why everyone is so frustrated with him

floyd also didn't lose the first fight...

unlike margo who lost his fight with paul williams and wont take a career high payday to avenge it!!!

Tszyu-Hatton winner was gonna face Mayweather-Gatti winner.

Hatton beat Tszyu and then refused to face Mayweather. He built his reputation in America, during two years, and then they fought.

Meanwhile, Zoo retired because he was SHOT.

I understand, but don't like it, when fighters turning down "risky" fights that might mess up a future huge payday.

I don't really get this one though. Margarito was a bigger risk to Mayweather than Mosley is to Margarito, IMO. Mayweather also made the same amount elsewhere after turning down the Margarito fight, and didn't have to deal with Arum, whom he'd long been at odds with.

Margarito doesn't appear to have other options to make $2 million until the Cotto rematch, and this win would help his popularity. Mosley is one of the bigger names in the sport. Mayweather fighting Margarito wouldn't have done much to help Floyd's popularity, as Tony was not a big name, and Floyd would've likely had to employ a defensive (boring, stinky) style against Tony.

There's more upside and less risk for Margarito to fight Mosley, so I don't really get this.
