    HAHAHAHAAHAHA. Eddie Chambers was in his mid30s when he fought Washington and he has always been a fast, difficult fighter. That you had to use this example to justify a "dreadful k2 era" shows how much you're grasping for straws, nice post.

    Chambers was the same age as Washington when he fought him.

    Imagine if Joshua was to defend 3 belts and the lineal championship against this guy ..

    Kltschko's era was an embarrassment to boxing. At the least Wlad could have blown him away but instead we got a timid performance out of him with lots of illegal fouling.

    The division is getting some depth, but it's still weak. Aside from Joshua, who's done anything?

    So things were looking promising when I made this post, imagine suggesting in 2016 we'd see the matches we've had in 2017 and 2018?? It'd be pretty unanimously decided that those fights wouldn't be made, let alone in basically 12 months.

    Pretty happy with how the HW division, and really boxing in general is going at the moment - there is some great talent and even when maybe it's not all elite talent, some really good competitive fights being made with people risking their records.
