......just to see who the best loser is.
Id give this one to Roy (purely based on pace of the fight).

I agree. Jones should retire. It's as simple as that.

Hopkins, if he really wanted to do us a all a big favour, would fight Dawson.

I was about to make a similar thread.

Prime Roy beats any version of Hopkins. There's no doubt about it in my mind. But right now Hopkins wins easily, possibly even by KO. Hopkins is still great while Roy is definitely washed up.

Check out Roy's left biceps. It was torn prior to the fight. That explains why he could not do much when he had Joe hurt. He looked old, hesitant and TOO slow. Can not beat a fighter with just one arm anymore.

Well I'm not so sure... based on both of there performances against JC.

How many punches did B-Hop land on Calzaghe? B-Hop didn't really hurt Calzaghe either and in fact made him tire towards the end where he barely threw any punches, hugged and cheated to gain more rest time.

Whereas RJJ, visibly hurt Calzaghe in the first. Land a few good shots. Showed decent accuracy and power up until the cut in the seventh. Many (including all 3 judges) has RJJ winning only the 1st round.... but I had him winning round 2 and at least one other.... because he landed the clearner shots whereas Calzaghe was just pitter paterring on his gloves.

Although if they did fight, I would say B-Hop to win by decision. Now that Roy is a more defensive fighter and B-Hop is a big spoiler. I can't see RJJ beating him and looking good. Although there would definately be money in the fight.

Hopkins would have stopped the Roy from last night. Roy Jones was a great fighter but he should have retired several years ago.

Hopkins would knock Roy out. Roy knows this and that is why we never saw a rematch and won't now.

roys done. regardless of age. some people lose it faster than others...ray leonard lost it at 35 years old..... hopkins style is the reason hes not affected by being 43 years old

Though I would still pull for Jones I would give the edge to Hopkins in another boring as hell fight !

    they both should retire but...

...if theres another fight with any kind of meaning left for them, then this one would be it.

with that said, i would love to watch it.

yeah, this one is a winner
I dont see hopkins losing at all
I do think that there could also be interest in a cal-hop rematch
I thik hopkins stands a very good chance, hop is one of the most adaptable fighters out there
