no! i never thought he could beat him in the first place. the guy couldn't use his phisical size to his full advantage and mayweather is a superior boxer.

Williams lost that fight on the scale. Gaining 18 pounds in one day is destined to make one sluggish, and quite frankly, the fact that he would or could gain that much in one day says something about his preparation. Just how dehydrated was he in making weight?

Quintana figured out how to beat Williams. Got low to nullify the reach of Williams. Carlos used Great Defense to block, duck, and counter. All credit goes to Carlos.

I think precise punchers with good footwork and movement around the ring causes a lot of troble for Williams. Margarito was in front of Williams all night and he is easier to hit. Williams has shitty defense and horrible movement around the ring. From what I saw Cotto, Mayweather, Mosley, and possibly Cintron would beat Williams...on this night at least.
This was a sluggish Williams tonight though.

Even Southpaws have trouble with Southpaws. I think it's Williams lack of in depth amateur experience.

Williams will be around along time..he had a bad fight..against an opponent most would avoid..no one is lining up to fight slick southpaws everyday.

All credit to Quitana he fought the better fight...Williams will still make noise in this game..he needs to move up 7 pounds and hire a trainer to teach him how to SIT on his punches so he can get people out of there.
