I, along with many others I'm betting, are getting sick and tired of the excuses from both sides. We as fans need to appreciate Floyd and Manny, no matter where you stand, and just be happy that the fight we've been crying about for 5 years (give or take) is finally happening.

Floyd fans can't refuse to give Pacquiao credit and Pacquiao fans can't refuse to give Floyd credit. It's completely childish and unfair, all of the double standards needs to stop.

Nobody put so much emphasis on Pacquiao being shot until this fight was official. Cut the bull****, man up, and be ready to give the other fighter their due credit and props.

    Here's the facts:
    • Neither man is shot
    • Both men are passed their prime but have made adjustments to their fighting style to suit their age
    • Both are still the respective #1 and #2 in the welterweight division for nearly a decade, VERY IMPRESSIVE.
    • Pacquiao fighting because he has tax problems is IRRELEVANT
    • Mayweather fighting because Moonves made him is IRRELEVANT
    • It's unfair to claim Ariza is supplying Floyd PEDs and not Pacquiao
    • It's unfair to claim Ariza supplied Pacquiao with PEDs and not Floyd
    • Both men deserve FULL CREDIT for a victory and for signing the contract
Just stop with the excuses, everyone, because you're only embarrassing yourself.

Come May 2nd, one man will be #1, and we all need to be prepared to give the other man FULL CREDIT

I'll give the winner credit for beating a clearly declined fighter.

    Fair enough.

I just hope the fight is decisive one way or another, so the boxing world might finally be able to go a day (or an hour, heck a minute) without more Floyd/Pac regurgitation. 5-6 years already long enough.

If its controversial its all we will hear bout for another 5 years. Uhg. Neither of them has KO power at this point so I kinda worry heh.

Either way, I don't have a lot to say on the fight. They are finally fighting the guy they should be fighting, so I don't see a reason to hate on either one at this point.

You make some valid points, but did you read that thread about how much Floyd's head has increased in size the last few years?

I don't want to make excuses, so excuse me for saying this, that is one big noggin.

If Floyd loses, it could very well be due to the fact that his head has become such a massive target. I mean Pac doesn't even have to aim to hit that thing :think

Shotquiao TKO8 Primeweather!!! You need to STFU and ACCEPT that Pac is shot and that Floyd is way fresher.

    :deal

Can you IMAGINE if the situation was REVERSED and Pac was fighting a Floyd who had been brutally KO'd 2 years ago?!

    :rofl:rofl:rofl
