    unfortunately the ref was behind romero and from that angle you can't really argue that he saw the ref coming. the ref jumped in too late and romero had already thrown the punch by the time he grabbed his arm, but man, he definitely should have stopped after clearly drilling mayol in the nuts (i think that's pretty weak).
