    trinidad pretty much threw only power shots, and every one landed. only a granite chin could take that punishment. and considering mosley ko'd margo, it's pretty stupid goin off starting weight. what about pac? is cotto not able to take any natural welters punches cos a flyweight ko'd him?

    mayorga does have an iron chin, but as shown by mayorga and many other fights with great chins, and that's even granite chin will eventually break if you keep on hitting it.

    lol at all the Mayorga haters. The way he was able to beat the guys he did without a textbook style and skills only shows how good he was. (six-head, forrest x2, Spinks imo, Vargas..and he gave Mosley all he could handle). Not saying they wouldn't have done the same thing at 147, but Trinidad and DLH were bigger stronger guys at 154-160. At 147 Mayorga would've been a tough fight for anyone.

    Mayorga was a champion in two divisions - how exactly is this not considered elite? He only lost to the best fighters of the past decade.
