Did not beat him post to post, but controlled the pace of the fight. Had spinks all over the canvas with two KDs and just by feinting (literary).

Look, Spinks was going to win no matter WHAT! That's why they had this HUGE introduction for the CONTENDER. That's why they were hyping his weak ass, talking about his background, his dead mom, his uncle, his dad, that he was destined to be a champ, that he was next in the family tree....It was pathetic. They wanted to make a story out of him so that they can sell him.

Spinks won for definites, it just confimed for me that Mayorga was nothing but a onoe dimensional slugger, after the first round, i was thinking the most this fight is gonna go is 3 rounds, but instead Spinks took control and countered Mayorga consistently.

If you think Mayorga won, i bet you also think Baldomir beat Mayweather too lol

Anyway, that was a fight that could have gone either way depending on how you score fights. But that fight was in no way a robbery.....

    Robbery is Diaz-Malligini ect....

Spinks was intimidated, he was NOT just boxing. He was on his bike running for his life. He lost. Dude went down like 10 times and none were called. There was a clear body shot I think that put him down.

Hey, Terry, your thread caught my attention. I too, felt that the decision in Mayorga-Spinks was bad. I thought I might be in the minority in that regard, but I scored that fight at least twice, both times for Mayorga. I don't have my score handy, but I had Mayorga clearly winning.

Another thing I would like to mention is that Ricardo Mayorga was a class act after that fight. Mayorga could've cried foul over that decision, but he didn't. Props to Ricardo.

Who cares at this point?? It was a boring ass fight like ten years ago. It is funny that people remember all this stuff but dont rememeber that Wildman had like three points taken away for being a thug.:patsch

I dont remember who I thought won, I try to forget fights like that.
