Mayorga vs. Angulo SET.

    This fight is set for Valentines day. I believe HBO is televising. What are the thoughts on this one. Even though this is supposed to be a stepping stone I think Mayorga was still very close to beating Sugar on the cards without that brutal 12th round. Im excited about this fight though. I think it will be very entertaining. Boxrec dot com also has it up on their site now. If someone has already made a thread regarding sorry in advance.

    Mayorga and Leonard never fought. They're from different eras.

    i'm looking forward to it, Angulo's one of my favorite prospects i hope he does big things in the future

    Angulo KO8, honestly....if Mayorga couldn't handle Mosley's power Angulo is gonna murder him

    The fight was set for a while now.
    I think if Mayorga comes in the shape he was with Mosley he will win.TH\hat is very unlikely to happen tough.
    Anybody know who is training Mayorga?If it's Garibaldi he will be ok.

    Only thing I gotta say is Mayo is in for the beating of his life. Angulo throws straight and hard. He has a very good chin imo and so far he has showed he has the stamina to go the distance. Mayo is now fading, does not have the stamina he once had, keeps coming forward which will be his downfall. This fight lasts no more than 9 rounds TKO 9th round.

    Sugar Shane Mosley man.. Not SRR or SRL..

    Anyways, this fight is going to be a war.. It's a 60/40 fight for me in favor of Mayorga, but I do think his best chance on winning the fight would be the early rounds, where Angulo would have the better chance in winning in the late rounds.. Mayorga is a dangerous opponent and gave Mosley lots of problems.. Mayorga could spoil Angulo's run to the top..

    I can't wait for this fight. This is what non-stop action is right here, Angulo vs Mayorga.

    I'll go with Angulo late but Mayorga has a serious chance to beat the far less experienced Angulo.
