Talk about an overrated fighter. Mayorga loses to everyone. Tito,Cotto, etc and people still match him up with other fighters. Berto is not really as good as those guys, but I still think he beats Mayorga. I am not sure why Mayorga gets overrated so much.
Mayorga is not that good. He beat Vernon on a good style matchup. He has decent power and comes to fight. People like that, but overrated him. Berto? Not a great fighter but he would probably edge Mayorga in recent times. Back some years ago maybe a pickem fight with the edge to Mayorga, but only because Berto is not very top notch.
you forget about six heads lewis. not only that those big loses all came above 147. when it mattered only one who beat him was spix and he was on the bike all night. sorry but berto won't take his shots aswell and he like to trade . that spells goodnite Irene:good
Ummm, none of those fights were at 147 genius. The Mayorga that fought Forrest ruins chinless Berto. Too strong, too heavy handed, and Berto's defense blows so Mayorga WOULD land.
