it would be like Kirkland Angulo ll. i think mayorga is the much heavier puncher. he's more explosive than margo

margarito is the one boxer Mayorga genuinely doesn't like.

 

maybe 5 years ago. Now what is the big deal? Mayorga lost to everyone he fought. I think Margarito wins easily in the mid rounds. Mayorga is the most overrated fighter in the last 10 years and has been given many chances to beat good fighters and be a top fighter. He is just not that good.

 

People been wanting this one for yrs. Even now despite Margos infamy. Its just one of those fights no matter what people would like to see and you have a feeling it might be a fun scrap to watch. No one is sayin their great or even world beaters anymore, but it might be matched right.

 

Forrest (x2) were pretty good wins for Mayorga. Even if Vernon did have a bum shoulder.

I love Mayorga but he might lose this one.

If there's one thing Margo has, it's stamina and Mayorga has a bad tendency to gas towards the middle/late rounds...

I see him exhausting himself early, trying to keep Margarito off him.

 

how long ago was that? Since then Mayorga lost to everyone he fought Delahoya,Trinidad,Mosley and Vargas,Spinks and Cotto. Why put him in a big fight again? he does not deserve it. Mayorga gets credit for his personality more than for his skills, that is very apparent. He does have a great personality, but as for a top fighter he is not one and has not been for 8 or 9 years, and his top fighter days lasted a year or two.

 

**** this would be a crazy fight . Not so much now since both of them are shot , but it'd still be pretty entertaining.

 

This could be a great fight. Who cares if these guys are past their best, they give it their all and are rarely in a dull fight. I agree with that poster who said this could a fight straight out of the Rocky movies. How could anyone not want to see it?

I have been clamouring for this fight for the longest time already.

This fight would certainly produce great fireworks between both fighters assuming both don't make any certain adjustments against each other. I'm see this fight going through late rounds with one guy getting beat up while another getting beat worse. This has high possibility to produce an epic fight, not technically but a certain fan-friendly fight. :happy :bbb :happy

Anybody who hate this fight has a certain agenda against either fighter

 

This chorus has been constantly used to Margarito as well.
So why not pit these two against each other? Why not acceptable for you?

Is it because of those you mentioned above or maybe you just have a hidden hate on Mayorga and seeing him fight just makes you butthurt.

And btw, a Margarito-Mayorga fight will probably make a 100x more exciting fight than any of your current p4p fighters. :hi:
