Prime for prime? Mayorga wins..

 

This fight was seriously being discussed when Mayorga was hot after his wins over Forrest. I think Margarito even had a "Wanted: Ricardo Mayorga" shirt in one of his fights.

Too bad it did not take place then. It would have been a great fight.

 

With or without a horseshoe in Margarito's glove?

 

With Plaster its a tossup without it Mayo would easily beat him his hand-speed was much better.

 

Loaded gloves = Margacheato Round 3 KO. Mayorga is such a nutter that he would brawl with Margarcheato and get KO big time early.

Non loaded gloves = Mayorga late stoppage. Mayorga would just stand there and trade all night Margacheato hasn't got the brains not to get involved.

 

Mayorga in his prime beats the **** out of Margo.

 

It took 8 rounds for a MW version of Tito to chop Mayo down, yet you see Margo stopping him in only 3...

 

it only took delahoya 6 to ko him, margo would pummel him to the canvas by 8 rounds mayorga was nothing special.

 

Yes Oscar stopped him in 6 after Tito went a long way towards wrecking his once iron chin.

Mayorga threw wide punches, defence very leaky, margaritos punches would land on him all night. he doesnt have the techinque, power or activity to beat tony. He couldnt even beat spinks.
