Magarito was harmless when he had no bricks in his gloves. You could see this fact in his fights after he was found to make that most terrible cheat. He didn't beat or knock out anyone after that, and he got beat up badly by Pac and Cotto.

So prime Margarito with plasterless would have been a puching bag for current Floyd.

On the contrary, prime Maryorga would have been dangerous for every boxer including Floyd Jr.

If there was truely plaster, Margarito would have been banned for life.

I think that Mayorga at his best, which imo was pretty much a very small window while at 147 (Lewis 2, Forrest 1, Forrest 2, Spinks) was more dangerous than Margarito, and would have also beaten Margarito head to head.

However, that was a very small window.... I think Margarito was the better and more dangerous fighter over the course of their careers, and most versions of Margarito would beat most versions of Mayorga, and I rank him higher as a fighter too as he accomplished much more then Ricardo. If we took the small window of their absolute peaks however, then I would tip Mayorga.

A prime, peak Mayorga was a deceptively fast gun slinger who had a great chin and could fight for all 12 rounds quite easily. He wasnt the slower, predictable cave man he became as he moved up in weight. I think against Margarito, it would have been a very very close competetive fight but one in which Mayorga's slight speed and power advantage saw him escaping with a decision win.

Mayorga 7 rounds to 5, with Margarito in control in the championship rounds.

As for who is more dangerous to Mayweather, I also believe that in his prime Mayorga was a far more dangerous opponent.

I agree that Mayorgas prime didnt last much(do to party, smoke, drugs and lack of dedication) but we only need 12 rounds of his prime here.

Paul Williams and Antonio Margarito. That's why he ducked them.
