Took 2 points off him easy and didn't count a KD in the 12th,that's 3 points there in a even fight. That's a robbery.Mayorga was the undisputed WW champ.:yep

Ike was a great WW and also had a great jab and boxing skill's i think he would have won by decision.

But he did got drop 2 time's by Jose luis lopez and ended in a draw and other 2 against DLH so i wouldn't count Mayo out that easy...

Forrest also had a great jab and height reach boxing skill's ect... and we all know what happen not comparing both of them but just saying.

Although Quartey has never faced a relentless pressure fighter like Mayorga, he's taken flush punches from a prime hoya and even Vargas and proved to have a very sturdy chin. Mayorga's wildness would catch him off guard from time to time but i believe he'll be composed enough to control the fight with his jab and catch mayorga with his right hooks on his way on. Quartey would batter him.

ike was used to overpowering most of his opponents, in those times he was considered the strongest of the 3, the other 2 oscar and tito. he was a slow starter, had that coconut shell defense, and monster jab. he was outboxing jose luis lopez, at the time considered the biggest welterweight puncher, for most of their fight, but was dropped by lopez twice. i think mayorga's awkwardness compensates for his lack of boxing skills and had a better chin than ike at welter. they might of been evenly strong, but for sure ike would of visited the canvas at least once. i think mayo wins the early rounds, while ike the late, even though he gets weak in the late rounds. i think ike by close decision or even a draw.
