Vargas has been done for a couple of years and Mayorga isn't that good anymore (not that he ever was). Vargas signing the fight at 162 just shows his determination and hunger, none. Mayorga will come in shape and win a ud or by late tko.

I'm picking Vargas, but I feel very uneasy about this pick.

Vargas says he is 20 pounds off fight weight. He is 20 pounds off, plus a dry out. He still has quite a bit of fat on him. The guy who fought Joval was in good shape.

i don't know why people have problems with fighters who talk ****, its pretty entertaining actually. whats so good about being classy and not running your mouth? it doesn't even make sense moneywise for the fighters, talking **** is better for promoting the fights. toney really excels at this but sadly most people take his talk too personally and end up being extremely offended.

For the life of me I still don't get why Nando has more people's moral support. I know technically he's the more skilled of the two but obviously most people who are getting all emotional about making predictions aren't basing it on an appreciation of styles.

How does Ricardo not come across as the much more likeable person?

Am I the ONLY one who was pleasantly suprised by Vargas' condition? I'd seen some pictures and heard some stories over the past year that had me expecting him to be morbidly obese. Sure, he's a little thicker than he should be, but I bet he'll be in "fair" shape come fight night.

He looks like the Aztec Butter Bean...I pray he looks better in the next couple of weeks ..I'd like to see him finish on top..Mayorga for all his faults does prep well but just lacks the sense to fight smart ....

If Vargas maneges to look decent I don't see why he and Tito don't consider each other as a fair well fight ..For as bad as Vargas has looked in the past he still continues to pack them in ..I'm excited bout the fight ..I really use to hate both these *******s but for now I like the fight ..:deal

Mayorga already messed the wrong cats, named Oscar and Felix.

They both tortured Mayorga (and gave Vargas beatings too).

That isn't what I remember when Vargas beat Campas, Marquez, Quartey and Wright. Not to mention give Tito, DLH and Mosley hell.

I don't remember it when Mayorga was sparking Forrest or Lewis.

They are good fighters who are macho.

They've lost to true greats. No shame there.

Pretty much since he was born. Vargas has always been in horrible shape.
