They will probably work this Floyd angle the same way they worked the pacman angle. Have somebody else wrestle for him and then when show gets beat up floyd gets the tag and the W. 40-0 baby!!!

 

I thought the scene lost most of any climactic sequel after Floyd's feeble entourage scattered like little boys.

 

Did the writers on WWE go on strike when the others writers did? I know Vince had hired Hollywood writers a few years back.

My grandpa tells me that wrestling use to be fairly real and real funny when it had real tough guys like killer Kowalski, Dick the Bruiser, Lue Thez, Johnny valentine, Bobo Brazil. He calls today's wrestling "just a lot of silly stuff compared to the old days"

 

Is your grandfather immature like everyone else who watches wrestling? Wrestling was almost always a predetermined outcome with many pulled punches and choreography. The emphasis then was on storytelling in the ring, the emphasis now is on storytelling out of it.

 

I don't know how many have seen it. But I have a video of Andre the Giant fighting a boxer..I believe it was Tex Cobb. Andre ended up throwing him out of the ring. Tex was none too happy about it and when he got back in it looked like there was genuine bad blood between the two, as Tex punched him after the fight was over, and Andre looked like he was ready to kill him. There was about 7-8 guys between the two of them so they couldn't really go at it, but both looked willing. I personally won't want to get on the bad side of a pissed of Andre..that's for damn sure. And on his bio, here apparently was getting hassled in a bar in Montreal and finally he got pissed off and chased the 3-4 guys bothering him. The locked their car and he was so pissed off that he tipped the damn vehicle so that it was resting on it's hood.

I know Andre suffered a disease that wouldn't allow him to stop growing and he basically died because his body, particularly his heart, couldn't handle it. Does anyone know if the big show suffers from the same alliment?

I hope boxing stays real or are we already seeing a sort of mayweather family batlle-royal in the works for the upcoming 24/7 with a fishnet and cherry-picker in the middle?

Either way, I do agree that Mayweather has better things to do then this, and I do agree that fighting DLH isn't good for boxing. But his getting more exposure is good for boxing.

 

I use to think that but there's more to it than that. Yes, the outcome is predetermined but those flips off the ropes and those landing etc. are real. Hell, a fighter I use to watch as a young adult called Dynamite Kid is in a wheelchair cause of wrestling...ask him if it's fake. Fake or not, it requires tremedous athletic ability and ability to sustain pain. Those 15-20ft falls mankind use to take off cages...would hurt like hell, regardless of how fake it was.

 

I know all this my friend. I have watched it off and on throughout the years. Maracho made the statement that anyone who watched wrestling was "immature" along with a few other blanket statements about it's effects on people trying to prove that people of a certain character watched it. I was being a bit sarcastic. Even with the ending predetermined, the moves and throws are difficult and dangerous.
