This was actually addressed in Kevin Iole's mailbag

What is your take on Floyd and Golden Boy Promotions not allowing Filipino reporters to do a television interview during a news conference on Thursday in Los Angeles? We are disgusted by this act of racism from GBP and Floyd.

Lighten up, dude. It’s hardly racism. I’m not sure what the story is exactly, because each side has a different version. But Mayweather skipped an interview with me on Thursday and I didn’t make a public case about it. When you’re a reporter, it happens. Racism is a serious allegation and shouldn’t be lightly used in situations like this. If anything, Mayweather is trying to promote a fight with Mosley and doesn’t want to take attention away from it to talk about Pacquiao. I think he should just man up and answer whatever is asked, like the great Muhammad Ali would do, but it’s ridiculous to call his failure to do so racist. And I’d be willing to bet big money that Mayweather wasn’t and still isn’t aware of it.

Except they can't come even close to making that case. More press is left out of conferences than allowed. When something is by invite only, you can't make a case that not getting invited is discrimination, especially when you have a sample size of two. There would have to be evidence of a widespread, systematic pattern of excluding only that group. And there isn't.

Not to mention the fact that all Philipinos weren't excluded...

Only the ones associated with Top Rank, and those who are hostile toward Floyd. He didn't want to talk to the mother****ers. Period.

Blame Seckbach & Chino Trinidad's own words coming back to haunt him.

I can understand. Why would any1 want to give interviews to people who have previously lambasted him/her?

I didn't say lawsuit. I thought it was against the law to discriminate on a fair number of criteria. Proving it is one thing. Having a law in place is another.
