    :patsch

Floyd landed 49% of his power punches, he was only missing his pawing range finding jab, trying to find the right angle for his straight right on the south paw.

But if he doesn't fight Pac and doesn't fight Martinez?

    What about in that case?

Honestly, I don't see Khan being a threat, but I've underrated Khan and I probably still do...

I'd rather see him against Ortiz than Khan though.

I just hate going through all the build up and anticipation, and waiting, etc...

And you bring up the point of Floyd missing punches...which he did, but I think this is a credit to Ortiz.

Ortiz was landing punches on Mayweather when Mayweather was hitting Ortiz in certain spots, so I think this made Mayweather hesitant, and he would start throwing his punches short so he wouldn't risk being countered.

Floyd was beggining to lunge in with his punches and Ortiz was timing him.

Bradley too small...? Are you crazy..?

Is Mayweather coming down from Middleweight or something...?

Tim Bradley probably is bigger than Mayweather come fight night, at 140!!!

Mayweather missing a bunch of punches because he was scared of Ortiz timing him and his power.

I dont care what the compubox #'s are.Watch the vid and tell me Floyd didn't miss alot in this fight.

Only missing his pawing range finding jab?lol sorry, but that made me laugh. Not being a dick.It realy made me laugh.I seen Floyd missing with the jab, straight right hands, right hooks and left hooks.

You could cleary see my point and this vid only shows the first 3 rounds.Floyd missed alot in the 4th.

He missed some punches when he was backing Ortiz up. But Floyd is more offensive against Southpaws, and when you are more offensive you tend to miss more.

He still landed 49% of his power punches. The left side of Ortiz face can attest to that.

Floyd was throwing combinations and banging Ortiz around in the 4th round. He clearly had nothing to respect from Ortiz. He didnt try the same thing against Oscar, Hatton, Mosley or JMM.

Gatti style beating had the fight Ortiz not found a way out.

    So, is that a positive?

He's still missing punches, and expending energy.

I agree about Ortiz not getting the schooling most think he was getting. But cant agree on other stuff you said like " Floyd was literally SQUEALING like a mouse when Ortiz would land his shots...TYPICALLY BEFORE Floyd would land his, and often when Floyd was THROWING a shot." AND STUFF LIKE "Mayweather will NEVER rematch this guy unless he's got some BALLS because Ortiz has his number." Just to name a few.

Mayweather prob will not give Ortiz the rematch, but to say that Vic has Floyds # to why is ridiculous.

He landed pretty much every shot he threw. He missed the left hook which was just to set up the right uppercut, which Ortiz ducked right into.

And when exacty has Mayweather got tired in a fight?

Mayweather opened up on Ortiz like he hasnt done since he fought Hatton in 2007. And that was only after 8 rounds of wearing Hatton out. Mayweather was opening up in the 4th.

So what exactly was Floyd getting timed by?

He was getting timed REPEATEDLY with Ortiz' left hand.

Did you not watch the fight?

What's your explanation for Mayweather's lunging, step foward, right hand, that missed completely, and Mayweather PREDICTABLY rolled to his right and appeared even airborne when Vic nailed him with a big left hand, (MADE HIM SQUEAL...listen, you can hear it), then hit him with a follow up right hand, and managed to penetrate his guard AGAIN with a right that bobble headed Mayweather.

Mayweather was hesitant, and he was scared because his skills weren't enough.

You got no argument from me about Mayweather's skill level.

But it was Ortiz SIZE of course combined with other physical and mental assets, but ESPECIALLY HIS SIZE that was getting to Mayweather.

    Ortiz couldn't miss Mayweather's body.

So many times did he hit Mayweather DIRECTLY on the body, surpassing his guard.

Go ahead and listen...You can hear the AIR letting out by Mayweather...it's a high pitched noise...sounds like a squeal.

This tells me he was HURTING Mayweather.

    Mayweather may be finished...

It wouldn't surprise me if he never fights again. Psychologicaly he was getting destroyed. He couldn't hurt Ortiz, and Ortiz was consistantly making him squeal, therefore hurting him.

It was just a matter of time.

    Ortiz got his timing down...

He was starting to capitalize. I would be very surprised if he didn't go on to knock Mayweather out or at least give him the beating of a lifetime.

I have to disagree about the 4th round. That was possibly Vics best round of the fight and Mayweather came out fast but missing with winging shots at the air.

Ortiz had one lil mouse under his right eye.Didnt see much damage at all to his left.

Gatti style beating?Thats your opinion and thats fine. But it is just that,,your opinion.I personaly would have loved to see some more rounds and a clean cut outcome than what ended up happening.Remember,Ortiz was coming on and having his best momemts in there when the fight ended after the butt.

Show me a gif. Or a video. If he was getting timed repeatedly why were there no marks on his face unlike Ortiz left side which was swollen to ****?
Mayweather landed 49% of his power punches. Ortiz caught him with one right hand, not a left. That sent Mayweather to the ropes. Ortiz then proceeded to miss every punch and get frustrated and butted Mayweather.
Your imagination. Nobody else heard it.
He stood in the middle of the ring and hit Ortiz with 8 unanswered punches in the 4th round. Something he hasnt done in years? He was scared? :rofl
Hatton and Oscar had more success against Mayweather offensively then Ortiz had. He landed 26 punches in 4 rounds. His flurries against the ropes were laughable, uncoordinated and he was punching with no leverage. Mayweathers tactic is to allow opponents to punch themselves out, he attacks with precision, his opponent gets discouraged and they rush him against the ropes and miss. Ortiz was missing. Please show me 2 flush punches Ortiz landed on the ropes back to back.

    Most of those punches MISSED.

The punch that landed APPEARED to be the uppercut, and then Oritz just walked foward, then Mayweather landed maybe 4 punches or so, and Ortiz shook it off and proceeded to unleash an ass WHIPPIN.

And those compubox stats are BULL****.

You can either read or see with your own eyes.

It doesn't matter. You're not really an objective fan. You're more a of fan of a particular fighter, so there is no arguing with you...

You're already set in your ways.

    Either way, it doesn't matter.

It's over with. It's done. But I will say, Mayweather may be finished as a top fighter. He's going to have to be very careful in the future with his matchmaking.

People are starting to figure him out. The enigma is disapearring...

Unless of course it was just Ortiz...

Only time will tell, but the wrong move for Mayweather to make would be another retirement.

When he comes out, he may get his ass beat by a guy no one would expect to beat him...
