i bet rich can whoop floyd all-day anyday... wtf's with the obsession with mma guys not being able to box like a "pro-boxer". they have to understand that you can't fully apply pro-boxing techniques in mma because the sport is complex. you have to watch out for other things like elbows, knees, kicks, takedowns, etc.

 

I actually quite like MMA, however that rant cracked me up. Dana's going to have to reply to that.

Please explain "how". PBF is one of the best boxers in the last 10 years. Please explain "how" his skill in the ring cheapens the sweet science because i really dont see it.

Furthermore i dont know why fans endear themselves to Floyds comments so much as though they know the guy. Floyd talks ****. Frankly who gives a ****.

 

I would argue that Floyd cheapens boxing because he was the pound for pound best but never fought the best in his current division, for one reason or another.

 

Very true also a reason they dont look like pro boxers is because they simply are not. Guys who dont box maybe dont realize to be good at boxing you have to dedicate your life and train hard everyday. Most MMA guys have just started picking boxing up over the last several years and in MMA you only need the boxing basics to be successful IMO. Also they dont have the time to train purely boxing 6 days a week they already have to work in their strength training,cardio,wrestling,jiujitsu,gnp work,muay thai padwork and sparring of course. Floyd wouldnt know what to do with Rich I think Rich could do well for a couple of minutes just beating Floyd in a kick boxing match before he tosses him to the ground and takes his arm off.

 

Rich is so much bigger and knows how to kick. I imagine in a kickboxing match Franklin KOs Floyd with body kicks.
