right thats what I mean he can't do it and be comfortable. Which puts him at a disadvantage in fights like this. He will more often be the lighter guy on fight night. But he has shown that he can do well being 10lbs smaller so maybe it does not matter?

The truth is he's always in shape, so he doesn't have much weight to cut without totally dehydrating himself and shedding muscle. At this point he's a natural 147.

Canelo was required to weigh 154 against trout.

He is going to be required to weigh 152 against floyd.

The two pounds might very well be significant.

Canelito tried to play hardball and took the Trout fight off Mayweather's card to Texas...hence the 152 or hit the bricks deal.

Canelo's plan worked like a charm.

Floyd HAD TO take this fight cause his prev fight did much less then expected.
That's why he tried to drain him.

Canelo is going to up FLoyd's PPV numbers big time!

    Speaking of less than expected.

Broner vs Reese did better ratings than Alvarez vs Trout.:rofl:lol::deal

Trout is not Floyd. Other than Pac, this is the best fight floyd could have taken.
and the PPV numbers will prove that. People finally think floyd could lose and that has not happened for a long time.

    But who is Reese?

Even Trout is better know than him.

Would you have believed Broner would do better ratings fighting Gavin than any of Canelito's fights???

It is not Alvarez himself that makes this fight sell. It is that so many people actually think Floyd can lose to him. Everyone wants to see floyd lose. So Alvarez is perceived, BY SOME PEOPLE as able to do that and people will pay to see floyd get beat
If floyd fought Ward,GGG,Pac,even Matthysse. the numbers would be close to the same for the same reason.

Stop trying to pull the race card into every thread it just confirms what an
    afro-centric weakling you are.:deal

The main problem ginger has is Floyd, forget about the weight because he weighted 153 against Trout, one less pound is not going to make a difference on a 23 years old kid, just by pissing he can lose the pound, another thing that I had notice is the ginger fans laying out the excuses for the fall of they idol, like I say ginger problems is facing the best fighter of this generation and the lack of talent, he hasn't face a real opponent outside Trout and he looked like $h1t on that one, GBP is cashing out and we all know it, and losing against an aging Fraud is not the same than losing against a molina, angulo or Lara...
