Same happened to Tszyu, they boo'd the Australian National Anthem even worse and ever since I was waiting for today and finally it came.
Brilliant performance by Mayweather and full respect. As a UK resident I am ashamed of the booing of the American national anthem by the drunken pricks that went over there. Hopefully people will understand that the majority of us over here are respectful human beings.

How long did that US anthem go on for anyway. On and on and on and on and on and on and on and warbley warble warb...oooo and on and on and on and on ......and on and on and warble warbly warble oooooo and on on and on......and on and on and on and on.....................and on...and....on...
The English fans were very disrespectful during the National Anthem, but it is exactly what I expected. As far as being the fight fan goes they get nothing but props. Following hatton 6,000 miles pulling for him pre, during, and post fight still supporting their champion. British fans have very poor taste when it comes to the respect of other countries, but their love for their fighter has to be respected. They would go through hell or highwater for Hatton, and the fans get much respect for that.

Apparently you have never heard the Mexican national anthem American fans in Vegas have sat through that repitive, lenthy stuff quietly on zillions of occasions. No excuses. - Jason
Yea unlike Joe Calzaghe who is from Wales. His fans don't boo the oppositions National anthem. WTF
**** them... and **** Ricky. Next fight he'll be having in US noone is going to come with him except his crying girlfriend.
Here's a good article on the Brits behaviour the whole week leading up to the fight http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=A1YourView&xml=/sport/2007/12/10/soboxx410.xml
Ok, point taken, that was taking it too far and WAS disrespectful. Oh seriously...:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:roflnut:nut **** off!! What bull****! Wha!! wha!! wha!! the crowd are making atmosphere WHAAAAAA!!!! The crowd are making it exciting!! WAAAAAAA!!:----( Get a grip.
You guys are sad. That crowd bought more atmosphere to that fight - You guys said the yanks should have booed God Save the Queen? You wouldn't have heard them for crap! The English are unapologetic one eyed fans of their sport - The barmy army has been coming out here for cricket for years, they give it to us win loose or draw - It's part of their game. You think their behaviour for booing is worse than when the Mexican or Peurto Rico fans start near riots when they loose? You say the English fans are bad loosers even though they continued singing and supporting their boy even after the KO? You guys are just embarassed at what REAL peroquial support is all about. They made that fight - Even Floyd appreciated it.
Well said,,,,people have to keep in mind that no matter where you go you will get morons like that....:yep
