Mayweather has consistently shown his skill and versaility by routinely entering the ring as the "smaller fighter" and yet outclassing his opponents on the way to victory. Chico Gatti Castillo 2x Judah Baldomir De La Hoya Hatton Mosley It's pretty impressive.
Ok someone please tell me I'm wrong. But PBF was the smaller fighter vs. DLH, Mosley, Judah, or Gatti?? I know for sure Judah is smaller than Floyd. He went up to fight DLH.
hatton LOL What he say on 24 7 "box that midget" Hatton is tiny theres only one giant killer today lets be honest Pac looked a boy to cotto Oscar and Margo pacs about same size as hatton just ricky adds LBs quick but hes still a midget no doubt
all WW are small compared to the average man but guys like Haton are tiny I met him in person Its amazing how they look raised up in that ring to be honest
Fighters are rated based on their skills, and current form, not based on their age and height. If Amir Khan were to fight Mayweather or Pac right now, would it not count since they are both older and shorter??:huh
the thread is giant killer, I was wondering about it. And size matters, especially against a counterpuncher like floyd having height and reach helps you, I just wondered about it in combination with youth. I looked it up myself in the mean time, the answer is phillip n'dou 5.10 height and about 3 months younger then floyd, that fight was 8 years ago, the guy before that was corales:thumbsup
Is Floyd still crying about that ? Cant he move on ? Why the hell Pac take his P4P title and beat all the guys Mayweather dont fight ? get in the ring already
Hatton may have been shorter, but as a Jr. ww he was weighing in at 152 on fight night whereas Mayweather was weighing in at 146-148 for his WW fights. And Pac was the bigger man against DLH. He weighed 148 to DLH's 146. He beat up a smaller guy.
