Good Luck with this thread....But ESB has changed DRAMATICALLY since Manny Pacquiao's Popularity Growth. Now it's a bunch of Casual-Ass-Fans in here and their Emotional Hatred of a fighter far out-weighs their Boxing Knowledge (or lack-thereof) and they cannot nor will ever appreciate the Resume and Skill of a Floyd Mayweather. But for the record...what he did at 130lbs is far more impressive than the rest of his resume. He defeated any and every relevant fighter at 130lbs and totally cleaned out an entire DIVISION!!!! But only the Hardcore Boxing Fans would know this!!!!

Mayweather is 5 8 , 72/ 73 inch reach. Comes into the ring around 150.

    Gatti - 5 7 , 67 inch reach came into the ring at 150

    Judah - 5 7 , 70 inch reach, came into the ring at 148.

    Hatton - 5 7 ? ( more like 5 6) 65 inch reach , came into the ring at 150.

Castillo - 5 7 66 inch reach , came into the ring at 140 , same as Mayweather.

So that is over 50% of his fights were against smaller men.

    Numbers dont lie....

I agree with the above , but you dont have to be hardcore to know this. Also his 130 days were 10 years ago, if we are living in the 90's then Roy Jones is still King.

A lot has changed my friend.

Mayweather really isnt that small and only a couple of those guys were physically bigger. I thought he was a big JL and even a good sized (physically) lw and JW... I think Welter is actually his natural weight class.

I mean, someone on the very same thread as the one your posting on has the HBO tale of the tape from the Judah fight in their avatar, how can you not see these things before you type stuff like this?

Numbers don't lie, no, but the people using them do!

As far as i'm aware Marquez is the only 'smaller' man Floyds fought in a very long time, and you leave him of the list. Thats a terrible post.

Smaller\Bigger = Weight, Taller/Shorter = Height. Get with it man.

    Thats another terrible post.

Dicoveries are made all the time in almost all diciplines. Lets focus on medicine seeing its subject related. Where people asking how many protons an neutrons were in certian atoms before the atom was spilt, nope, because they didn't know how to spilt it. Therefore noone questioned it.

Not many people knew there was certian chemicals\Peds\HGH\Drugs (call it what you may) manufactured that could only be detected in blood (If even at all)

I think thats a pretty good reason not to question it.

I've usually stayed away from these types of threads and i can't seem to understand why yet :tired

You really are new to this game , Marquez wasnt on the original post. Also HBO had Hatton in one fight at 5 7 1/2 ive met the guy and he is 5 6 maximum. So to take HBO as gospel is very green.

    you are strange.
