It doesn't bother me if you say Floyd is or isn't PPV king. I have no dog in this fight. but as a boxing fan for many years, I know that the heavy weight division was a big deal then. Even a lot of below average boxing fans tuned in and watched the heavyweights.

How did the lower weight classes PPV compare back then. I'm curious to see but don't know where to find those PPV numbers. I remember not even having to pay to watch some of the great fights in the lower weights back then.

 

Think about this, even if it flops Floyd will make more money in that one night than you will make in your entire life.

floyd is not popular to americans. reason why is 24/7 and all access shows, tbe, and other marketing strategies that were made just to market his fights that still comes up short without the backing of latino fighters. unlike the times of ali, tyson, odlh, rjjr, and other american champions who became popular because of their fan appealing performance in the ring.
