 Fight would look exactly the same. Saul has no stamina. THAT is not going to change.

Forget the age, look at the number of fights. Andrade beats him at 154 and Golovkin brutalizes him at 160. Oscar better be very careful with his golden goose because it's going to get plucked very soon.

I might as well watch the first one again, since it will be the same in the rematch.

Cotto would make the most sense from a business and legacy point of view, especially after he beats Alvarez.

It would have to be #50 in such a case. Who does Floyd fight in the interim?

Unlike Floyd, Canelo doesn't need to have a Perfect record and be an ass about it to get people to watch him. At 24 years of age he is commanding 2million+ ratings.

Because Alvarez doesn't wait for fighters to look bad to fight him, and because he doesn't wait for them to get old before fighting them, and because he always challenges himself, he may likely pick up a loss or two in the future, but a loss or two shouldn't affect his stock the way it would destroy Mayweather's marketability.

Fighters like Canelo, ODLH, and Pacquiao can have losses and still have huge ratings.

People like winners. It's unfortunate but that's the way it is. All credit to Alvarez for fighting Trout, Lara and Mayweather, although I had him losing two of those fights. However, unless he stays at 155 for the rest of his career, he doesn't have much of a future. Hatton had a great fan base but after getting starched by Mayweather and Manny, he desided to hang them up. Five years from now, Alvarez will probably be retired.

Alvarez can't fight at 154 anymore and Mayweather isn't moving to Middleweight. Yes, 154.5 and 155 are both Middlleweight.

No, may pac II still does 4m + and may vs ggg would do more ppv as well.
Remember Canelo fans will still buy it if it's ggg.

That's happening thanks to his fight with Mayweather. That's where he got the global publicity he needed.

He took glorious advantage of that global publicity. Whether Canelo is deserving or not, he's becoming a big draw. The awareness for boxing is the highest it's been for a long time. The sport needs to take advantage of it.
