Either the fight gets negotiated again. Or either Bob or Floyd can make the excuse that they had to opportunity to talk, but the other side didn't want to start negotiations and never wanted the fight from the start.

 

Uh oh....Mayweather didnt tell his ***** who he was talking to to....i see a domestic hapenning....this time Mayweathers going to be on the receiving end....Ellerbe guna be pissed lmao.

But on a serious note....i beleive they have been working together for a long time....building the hype....making the fight bigger....hopefully i aint wrong and we will get to see Floyd and Manny get in the ring together one day soon!

 

dont worry there will be a whistle-blower who will expose ellerbe as a lair and will confirm that floyd and arum indeed met at the superbowl and took pictures together.

 

While it would be awesome, people (including myself) have been saying something along these lines for the last two years and still have yet to see it come to fruition. At this point, I think it's just wishful thinking, but I do hope it proves to be true. It's taking a big gamble to have all these "tune-up" fights knowing just 1 could put a dent in the plans. Just doesn't make sense. More then likely it was just a publicity thing and they didn't want to get in some big argument in public. A sort of play-nice situation. Still we can all only hope this is one big long con to make the fight this Nov or next May.
