I have no interest in mayweather coming back to fight either Hatton again or Pacman.

If he comes back I wanna see real fights not just ppv style freakshows, I want Margo, Cotto, Berto, Forrest, Williams and 'MAYBE' Mallignaggi were he to get by Hatton, **** everyone else...

Man, I didn't say that I disagreed. The point is, Mayweather would be coming back for the money, not the love of the sport. And Money means Hatton or De La Hoya or Pac. Not those guys you listed.

Just watch Floyd Mayweather Snr has done with him have you seen the vids of him in the gym? Yeh hes looking alot more quicker. When he beats Malignaggi youll come crawling back.

My thought are - because of JCs age, he should only have 1 more fight, vs Dawson or Hopkins... Froch would be a mismatch & not a very satisfying way to bow out.
Perhaps if Hopkins fought Dawson then Joe could try beat the winner then there wouldnt be so many calls for him to fight the other 1 if he only beat 1 as surely there would be on ESB land.

Mayweather should forget the winner of Hatton/Malignaggi as he wont recieve much credit for beating either... he should fight the winner of DHL/Pac as DLH (next to Castillo I) gave FMJ his toughest fight & if Pac won then what a mega-fight between the top 2 mostly regarded p4p fighters, Mayweather & Pac.

Hopefully then, the Margarito/Williams thing can be settled (tho I doubt it) then Floyd can fight the better man of those 2.

Ps. Cotto & Mosely would have no chance vs Floyd IMO.... of all the names mentioned, I would have to say a less ring rusty & motivated DLH would have the best chance of the upset.

    Over & out.

Of the fights mentioned I would like to see Mayweather-Hatton 2 at 140 and Calzaghe-Dawson.

The problem with Calzaghe fighting the winner of a Dawson - Hopkins fight, is that we would have to sit through Calzaghe - Hopkins 2... :verysad

If Joe fights on, he may aswel fight the undefeated hyped American champ, rather than the American he has already beat in a **** fight.

it would be in both fighters interests to fight at 140. hatton's more natural weight, and a chance for mayweather to have beaten the lineal champ at 140 at 140, added to his resume.

i think mayweather will win again, but if hatton learns to be a little more defensive and not just rush in face first, with a neutral ref, it would be a lot closer, and with 90,000 fans at wembley, would be a great fight and atmosphere.

I mostly agree with this. It would be a closer fight assuming that Hatton looks good and obviously beats Malignaggi, and also that Floyd Sr. has improved Hatton's overall game and tactics. A tough fight, in which Ricky would have a good chance, knowing Floyd Jr.'s game inside out for two obvious reasons.

Would Hatton vs. Mayweather be able to fill Wembley though?
I'm not so sure, I think Hatton vs. De La Hoya would have a better chance.

I dont think the fight if it happens will be on sky sports as Calzaghe is with Setanta sports now.

I don't know if I see any reason for him to fight Floyd, but there we go.

I would like to see him fight BHOP again.
