FMJ is a phenomenal boxer and one of the most skilled boxers in recent memory, but he doesn't come close to putting up any semblance of a fight against Martinez.

Floyd knows what he can do in a ring and he knows who he can beat. Anyone he fights or has fought in the past is/was someone he would beat. That's it, the dude only fights the guys he knows he can beat. He got the fight with Victor Ortiz at the snap of a thumb. Same with SSM. Same with Hatton. Same with Baldomir. he has proven plenty of times in the past that it really isn't difficult to sign off on a fight.

Bottom line: a FMJ/SM bout would be a megafight, possibly the biggest fight in decades, certainly a much bigger fight than a fight against Victor Ortiz. he would make a **** TON of money in a fight against Martinez. Money is the most important thing in the world to the guy. So why hasn't a fight been signed by him yet? Because he knows he would get dog walked.

That's it, end of, enough with the bull**** already, Mayweather would get posterized by Martinez and that's a definite. Stop pretending that little elf has a chance.

One fighter is willing to go anywhere and fight anyone and has been calling the other fighter out for years. This fight would be pushed on the public like a mother****er. The other fighter picks his fights and gets them done with no problem at all. If Floyd wanted to fight Martinez he would, and if he would fight Martinez then he knows he'd win. He knows he'd get smoked, that's why the fight will never happen.

At least it would be a bigger fight than a Baldomir fight.........
