I guess I was being overly dramtic on the opening post. I am not off the sport completly but it's been a while since a mega fight and those are the things I look forward to the most in entertainment. More than the superbowl or any movie that I have ever waited for. More the the premier of a new show or a playboy centerfold for some hot broad. Nothing matched a mega fight for me. I'm kind of like a junkie right now. I am watching these other fights to get buy but I am missing that one good needle that will make me feel like the first time I got high. It's been a while since I had that feeling in my stomach before a big fight. I know you know the feeling man. THat feeling that you got before Oscar vs Vargas all that tension that just released the minute that first bell rang. i need that man and the lack of it is making boxing's stock go down for me.
and pac fought clottey.........boxing its getting ridiculous....come on,,people say andre ward its the future..i was falling asleep on his fight with green.I am sick and tired of people saying things like "he fought hard fights,he deserve some easy fights now",barrera looked slow and his opponent was way below his level, its getting harder and harder for me to watch boxing,i ratehr watch old fights, you know the winner ,but they are still exciting!
I hear you woo, its funny how you put that, you put it great cuz thats how i feel too, big fights are my superbowl and my nba finals type thing, i can def understand your fustration m'man, hopefully they get this **** going soon. :good
Pac is exciting fighter. Green can't fight at all. Ward refused to fight in tournament unless he got all his fights in his home town. Ward did not want Bute to be allowed in tournament either. Why does he have so much power?
I really wish I could take back my 50 bucks after watching Clottey fight. I bought it and saw it with my relatives and even they were bored. I think its not fair at all that Pac does all the things and his opponents are the ones that don't show up ie. Clottey and ODLH.
hahahahha put off boxing huh??? until some real boxing in the ring comes along and ur good to go again!! u will come right.get a job and then u will have other things to wait for other than this fight
For me it hasn't turned me off boxing but it has turned me off the General Forum. I rarely read the posts here since I'm sick and tired of all these Pac and Floyd related posts. I find myself posting in the lounge more or just reading through the Classic forum. Boxing is still an amazing sport despite all the BS politics.
If that's true you where never a true fan of the sport, there's lots of great fights out there that can be made.
