Hopkins has done it. A lot. And got credit for it. Mayweather is by no means the worst when it comes to this. And he has been the smaller fighter on occasions too. Some would say he's earned this.
And DLH (Genaro Henandez). It happens more often than people realise, but because it's PBF people (including me) pay more attention to it. In honesty, I think I'm mostly annoyed because a great fight in JMM has put himself in this position. He'll lose, and then people will think less highly of him than he deserves, and PBF gets credit he doesn't really deserve from people.
Agreed....New rule: Dumb ass NOOBS who have nothing constructive to say, and start threads with the same ridiculous 'Mayweather is gay' 'Mayweather is a cherrypicker 'Mayweather is a *****' should be banned.
Obviously not bc i hear the same crap for 3 weeks str8. While Oscar did it his whole career and only hear 1 or 2 complains.
I'm not sure what's so ridiculous about what's in bold. You could say it's wrong, but I understand why people think that. Hell, I think that - although money has a lot (too much) to do with it.
this is what i find funny marquez is number 2 p4p fighter floyd aint fought for 18 months. a p4p fighter should have the ability to move up weights without difficulty if needed. from 135 to 143 its only 7-8 pounds thats all which is one weight class plus jmm has the power at lw and can probably carry the power considering its pbf come back fight wtf are people bitching about. shane mosely is a dickhead with his head up his bum hole he thought he was going tp get the winner or pac/hatton he should have persued a cotto rematch or pw to make himself a more of an attractive proposition
this is also true. i forgot these two good points. yea JMM did call mayweather out not the otherway around so how was floyd cherry picking?
This is clearly not a case of cherrypicking. If Floyd wanted to cherry pick, he could've picked out some non discript WW, took damn near all the money, and beat the hell out of the guy. As you pointed out, JMM did call out Floyd. The size is a concern, but JMM really only has to go up 8 lbs. Yeah, I know he spent a lot of time at 126 but we've seen that he can be highly effective at 135. The question now is if his skills can be duplicated at a weight 8 lbs. higher. This is an interesting matchup.
JMM is consider big as a 130lber let alone 126lbs! being 5'7 but he didn't move up in weight does that mean he like fighting smaller guys? Floyd is 5'8 and after he did his thing at 130 he left to fight bigger guys and he is the only one getting bash to take a fight with someone who is slightly smaller than him. Forget Floyd's weight hopping and lets look at the facts. JMM's highest fight night weight is 140 and floyd is 149. They are meeting in the middle so floyd have to drain from laid off and JMM have to put on 5lbs. petty things for they are bascially the same size.
Keeping in mind my posts before, explain why fight-night weight means anything. Quit ducking my point.
