Think the title says it all. Post what you consider as being fights that cemented their legacy as P4P. Because we have both fighters, then all views will be welcome! ..... this should be good.

Pac will be remembered for barrera 1, his 2 Marquez fights, and de la hoya, cotto and hatton fights.

Mayweather - Corrales, Castillo and De La Hoya

Corrales and Barrera, can't really say what fight was the one that cemented eithers legacy but these wins definitely showed that they were the real deal.

  4. To me, Floyd's was Oscar and Manny's was either Marquez or Oscar, these fights made Floyd and Manny superstars.
However I also feel that Floyd/Manny only have one obstacle left in their careers, eachother. If Floyd where to beat Manny he could claim to be the greatest of all time or of this era and everyone would see some sense in that. If Manny won the same applys, being the first figher to defeat Floyd would enhance his legacy greatly.

They are the only people in boxing who can defeat eachother, this fight is their last stamp sealing fight on greatness, this is what makes this fight the biggest fight in history.

MAB I - introduced us to the possibility. EM II, JMM I & II, Hatton, ODLH, and Cotto cemented it

Corrales - introduced us to the possibility. Castillo I&II, Hatton and SSM cemented it.
