It would only do the sport good. It would help bring more awareness to the sport and give other up and coming fighters the chance to take the limelight. Everyone see's these two dudes as the face of boxing. They're both frauds quite frankly, especially Pacquiao. I actually can't wait until they both retire. It will be like a breath of fresh air for the sport of boxing.

    Sorry about my rant :p

Agreed. It would rid this site of the lowest common denominator and the forum would be a lot better for it.

Mayweather and Pacquiao beat anyone at their weight class right now and one class above, one class below so why, why would they retire? Manny didn't lose to Bradley or did he? Cotto was not even close to beat Floyd or did he? C'mon, ****...

    Nah...

Stil got big fights out there...

-Ortiz PAC got damn bad ass fight,
-Pacquiao Mayweather just to remove the doubt and show May would always beat PAC anytime.
    -Mayweather Canelo/Martinez
-Pacquiao Cotto @ 154 would be awesome IMO.
-Pacquiao Canelo @ 154? could be a war if people think PAC is really such a beast even at 154 if not Canelo just steam rolls him.
-PAC at 147 doesn't have much, Guerrero? and get outboxed... all the money fights @ 154 even with Mayweather.

Pac and FMJ has brought a lot of non fans to watch boxing. If you want the sport to do good, get rid of these damn incompetent judges and refs, to start with.

Yeah, the two biggest superstars in boxing should retire, while they're still not far removed from their primes and considered to be among the top 3 P4P fighters. Great idea, this would certainly benefit our sport a lot...
