Floyd is also fighting in his 4th weight class at 147.

He beat the champion, the ex champ at 147 in back to back fights. Prime winning welters? Put the dates together, besides Margo who Arum wanted options on Floyds fights. No one else was available or they turned Floyd down.

very one sided article. pac and hopkins fought the best, the reason they are praised. floyds resume is poor in comparison there is no question about that. the writer says he never ducked anyone that it was just a matter of circumstances and bad timing, which maybe true, but that doesn't dispell the fact he never fought the best possible oppositon.

Its no double standard or whatever you call it...Thats just the way it is...Pac is also criticized in all his wins......Name one notable win that he didnt get criticized....Heck, name one fighter not criticized!!! My point exactly....That's just the way it is...If you have fans, so are haters...

Floyds last two opponents are the same as Pacs. Yet Pacs wins over the same fighters are great while Floyds is cherrypick/old.

The point is Floyd talks a lot of **** and claim to be the top P4P and TOP 147lbs. But a little guy that belongs at 135lbs eliminated the same two fighters way faster than Floyd. May be Floyd can beat this little guy, but when is he going to fight any of the Top 3 in his weight class????

And he needs to start acting like an adult. People is getting tired of listening to him talk like a 15 y/o.

    Translation:

    1. Gatti was a BUM
    2. Re: Tszyu it's always what he WOULD do, a big IF guy
    3. When he moved to 147 to fight Zab he was coming off a LOSS:patsch
    4. Everybody "knows" that if money's on the table he beats Magarito, another big IF from the guy.
    5. Now he's coming back against the no.2 p4p (NO he's coming back against a lightweight who hasn't fought at 135lbs a full year yet.)

    He's a cherry picker..........

This is the same mofo who WE KNOW will use the Arum excuse TO THE GRAVE not to fight Cotto, yet will make concessions to fight Manny....Floyd is a great fighter, but a cherrypicker.

i dont see people praising pac for the oscar win. they are praising the manner in which he won. and hatton was at his natural weight and linear champ.

You see, the TS just proved his point lol. You using Cotto as some means of making your post bullet proof is straight crack. Floyd challenged Cotto at 140, and with 5 defenses I believe, Floyd was told that Cotto wasn't ready.
