Ever hear the story of the boy who cried "WOLF!!!"

Save your race accusations for when it matters(and actually applies). That's why no one gives a **** about BLM and there message.

On the subject of BET Ward already went that route and it did NOTHING for him. Catering to the demographic that is least likely going to pay for entertainment(see record sales) is not helping his **** career.

If you are going to fight on FREE TV at least let it be on one of the channels that a casual may flip through while channel surfing. Most people dont check to see what is playying on BET!(some marketing advice for you son).

One day Floyd is giving Ward praises and the next day he rubs salt in his wounds. Floyd is a hypocrite.

the one thing floyd hates is that GGG is at 160 and he wants to become a MW Champion...all the past greats have tried some even succesfull...but he knows Gena is a monster deep down inside

What does skin color have to do with anything on a boxing forum?

Thats a very ignorant thing to say.

Does anyone know why Ward didn't sign with Haymon btw? It would have appeared to make the most sense for him - even at the time he signed with ROC a year ago it was looking like 168 was shaping up to be Haymon's pond. Furthermore Prince would already seem to have, or have had, a working relationship with Al. It would have seemed that Haymon would be the most obvious choice.

Internet rumours suggest that Haymon wasn't interested in Ward, but this would seem odd - does anyone have any more info or links on what actually happened with this?

More like 16 year old teenager,
Also, my guess is there are more white viewers than black. Wiggers rep in groves.

Good question, because the lack of interest angle doesn't seem probable. Haymon and Mayweather both value Ward and I'm sure Mayweather wouldn't mind Ward being a part of TMT. Mayweather has insisted since his retirement that Ward qualifies as #1 p$p. True or not it shows that Mayweather values Ward's talents.
My guess is Ward, being a West coast dude got mesmerized by East Coast swag and Jay-Z was able to make promises he probably won't be able to keep..

Should have signed with Haymon to avoid Kovalev? I'm glad he didn't do that.

Prince's and Al's relationship over Andrade isn't exactly a home run. We've seen him have alot of the same problems Ward was having as far as matchmaking goes, which is why I think Prince is the common denominator.

Just speculation on my part, but it looks Al read the writing on the wall with what happened between Ward and Goose and his own experiences with Andrade, and decided it wasn't worth the hassle to land Ward.

If he can bluff his hated rival into overpaying for that headache, so much the better.

Ward probably doesn't want to be in anyone's shadow or have too many people in his ear. He took the shortest route to big money and fame. He is really only 1 big fight away from raising his profile significantly (Kovalev) and he already has a huge deal. I'd say he is doing OK. But, Ward needs to follow through here. I see him in a similar position as Bradley with TR, except that Bradley fought his biggest fights already.

Mayweather is right in the sense, that if Ward wanted to be on TV a lot more, be paid well, and remain at 168, he should've tried to sign with Haymon. He would've had more choices as well. He would've been able to move up and get the same fights, if he chose. A Stevenson fight would have been more easily made and a Kovalev fight wouldn't be out of the question either. Or, he could've waited out GGG at 168 and raised his profile enough to not allow for the "Ward doesn't bring enough money" excuse from the GGG camp.

Haymon didn't want him. He is already dealing with lawsuits from Top Rank and GBP. Doesn't need any more future trouble.
